Editorial methods and corrections
How MasVeri prepares its research: sources, calculations, limitations and corrections.
What we publish
MasVeri is an independent publication interpreting official statistics about Türkiye. We are not part of TurkStat, and attribution does not imply endorsement. Indicator pages describe individual series; research reports connect multiple measures around a defined question.
Traceable sources
Charts link to their TurkStat source. Reference period, unit, age coverage and geography are essential to interpretation. We use published releases and accessible tables, not our own field surveys or an implied entitlement to microdata. Missing city, model or monthly breakdowns are not filled with invented estimates.
From figures to findings
Our contribution is selection, calculation, visualisation and interpretation. We distinguish official observations from derived results. A rate rising from 10% to 12% increases by 2 percentage points, or 20% relative to its starting value. Different reference periods are identified; correlation alone does not establish causation.
Use of automation
Software and AI assist data processing, charts, multilingual text and PDF production. They do not replace sources. Numerical claims should be assessed against the linked evidence. Interpretations and translations can contain errors; send the report URL and affected passage to info@masveri.org.
Publication and reference dates
Publication dates identify when a report appeared; data periods identify what it measures. A 2026 report may cover released months or completed earlier-year data, not a full-year forecast. Published reports are preserved as dated studies and are changed only when explicitly updated. New observations may support a new report.
Corrections
Report errors with the URL, affected section and supporting source where possible. Material corrections must consider text, charts and PDF together and display an update date. Navigation and design changes do not reset publication dates.
Limits
National averages may not describe a particular person, household or city. Sampling, definitions, rounding and methodological breaks matter. Reports support research rather than individual investment decisions or guaranteed forecasts. Source-data reuse terms and original MasVeri commentary are distinct.
